Founder's Story

I didn’t plan to write a Bible translation. I was just trying to survive pain.
‍
I’d been deeply hurt by people who claimed to represent God. Church trauma, manipulation, rejection, shame — it broke something in me. I couldn’t tell what was truth anymore. The Bible started to feel cold… like it was written for the perfect, not for the broken, the hurting, the lost.

But I desparately needed God. I needed comfort. I needed hope.
So I went back to the Word, asking, “What are You really saying here?”

I didn’t want to reword Scripture to be trendy — I wanted to hear it in a way that could actually reach me and pull me out of my despair. I needed to lean into joy and grab onto hope. So I imagined: if the apostles were here now, what would they sound like? What if they spoke like wise, raw, straight-talking life coaches for our generation? After all, that's what they were to the church back then. And what if they used the kind of language that actually hits today's youth straight in the forehead and clearly highlights a path forward when they’re in the pit?

That’s what I started writing. One verse at a time.

Not changing the truth — just pulling the love, joy, encouragement, and clarity to the surface. In today's language. Because it was always there. I just couldn’t hear it through the weight of pain, shame and traditional formality that muddied what the Word was clearly trying to speak.

So this translation became my own rescue mission.
It helped me see God again.
Not as a judge… but as a Father.
Not distant… but near.
Not demanding perfection… but offering wild, reckless grace.

And now I’m sharing it — for anyone who’s ever felt too broken, too far gone, or too numb to keep pretending they’re okay.

This version is for us.
The ones who still believe — but need to hear it differently.
